Brian's 2002 S2000 - Comptech Superchaged FMIC Fabrication

Brian contacted us with aspirations to replace his Comptech Air/Water cooler in favor of an Air/Air front mount intercooler. He expressed his worries about boost pressure losses related to piping length and diameter. On a 9psi pulley we fabricated a complete front mount IC setup with TIG welded 6061 aluminum, 3" piping and a three core intercooler. Pressure loss was about 1psi and dyno results showed 330whp at 9000rpms and a bit over 200 ft lbs of torque before the clutch started to slip. Brians setup was tuned via AEM EMS. Not too shabby for a complete stock F20C engine!

David's 2006 Civic Si - Bolt-on's, Reflash, Brakes, Wheels & Tires

David brought in his completely stock 2006 Civic Si for us to give it some BT performance and style. We've been bolting on parts as the aftermarket parts become available. The bolt-on's with the reflash generated over 30hp and tq in through the mid range and about 10-15hp and tq up top.

Aki's Nissan 300ZX with Trans-Am LS1 6-Speed Swap

Aki just recently finished his LS1 project in his 300ZX. The firewall was cut and the engine set back for best weight distribution. He carefully fabricated around his accessories in order to keep his window wipers, dash and console components.

Jeremy's 1972 Datsun 240Z with BT Built and Tuned KA24DE Turbo making 339.3whp 342wtq

We just recently finished Jeremy's KA swapped 240Z. This car came with with the original inline 6 with dual carbs. We pulled it out, reconditioned the engine bay and started to mock up the motor that was built last summer for this long awaited project. Initially, Jeremy wanted to install this motor into his Datsun 2000 roadster. A last minute change of mind caught us off guard when he showed up with this 240Z. With the availability of aftermarket parts, this chassis was the better choice. This car is a BLAST to drive. Conservatively tuned at 14psi on 91 octane gas, it generates almost equal power and torque figures just like most V8's!

Nhien's 2006 RSX Type-S - 3 Day Buddy Club Parts Install, Test and Tune Project - 211WHP 157.7WTQ

This project was very fun to do. Nhien drove a long way to drop off his almost stock RSX on Monday for a baseline. The only engine mod he had was a Fujita intake. Baselines show a respectable 177.5whp 128.5wtq. During this 3 day install process he stayed at a local hotel awaiting his ride. About an hour after Day 1, we decided to drop the engine to do the valvetrain, header and intake manifold install. For those of you who don't know, the RBC manifold is difficult to install with the engine in the car. With it out, we were able to attack the motor from all sides. By end of Day 2 the engine was back in and running for cam break-in and to bleed the coolant system. The Injen intake replaced the Fujita because of the better fitment with the RBC intake manifold. Today, we put it on the dyno for K-pro tuning. We netted a total peak gain of 33.5whp and 29.3wtq. Midrange gains netted more. See the dyno plot below.
