Tim's Supercharged Direct Port Nitrous B16 EK - S3 Magazine Feature; V2008 Volume 6 Issue 1
Congrats to Tim Oaks and his feature in S3 Magazine. We built this powerplant for Tim back in 2006. He wanted to build a solid B16 that could withstand the high cylinder pressures of direct port nitrous on top of his JRSC supercharger with upgraded pulley. It was a tall order, but with an AEBS sleeved & O-ringed block and some choice internals, we were able to give Tim about 280hp on the charger and about 370hp with the bottle on 91 octane gas tuned on Hondata. Since then, Tim has dressed up his ride with a set of new wheels and JDM interior, exterior, engine bay & suspension goodies. Looking great Tim!

The 24 Hour of LeMons Coverage by Popular Mechanics; October 2007 Issue
Our little orange #22 on oem shocks, knock off springs, stock brakes, clutch and ZC engine ran a solid and competive race against the the gauged-out-double-adjustable-suspension-race-car-in-its previous-life-PM-Golf. Just goes to show that reliablity, cosistency and skill will eventually put you on top. We took 4th out of 98 cars.
Ultimate Street Car Challenge 2007 Hosted by Sport Compact Car
We were invited by SCC to the Ultimate Street Car Challenge back in August, 2008. At the time of the invite, we really didn't have a car prepared that could compete in all categories. Since Aki had just finished his LS-1 conversion in his Nissan 300ZX, we thought that this car would probably have the best chance amongst our other vehicles. Plus, this car was a REAL street car! With the LS-1 already swapped in, we had one month to prep it for the challenge. Getting the ball rolling, we started upgrading the motor with a cam, nitrous, induction. Suspension upgrades consisted of a roll cage, coilovers, brakes, wheels and tires. EFI Live engine management was installed and last but not least smog equipment :(

Congrats to Henry Garrido and his feature in this months DSport Magazine. We built this car for Henry with limited resources because of its new Drive-by-wire, fuel and engine computer upgrades over previous S2000 models. We typically call such projects as the "bleeding edge of technology" build. You're pockets bleed because you're the first to try to mod a new car. Though a turbo kit from Ultimate Racing was used, many items needed to be redesigned to work on Henry's '06 AP2. The November 2007 issues are now in newstands so grab yourself a copy! We would thank everyone who has made this project and this photo shoot possible.
